We are thrilled you’re here and even more delighted to inform you that CAMBA is a grass-roots, non-profit, down-to-earth, no-nonsense, plain-spoken group of people who are elated to develop, manage, and protect the most unique mountain bike trail system in the Midwest.

With more than 135 miles of singletrack, 70 miles of groomed winter trails, and 200+ miles of mapped gravel routes, we’re certain to offer riding that fits your needs. Physically and spiritually, the CAMBA trail system, which extends through Bayfield and Sawyer County, encompasses nearly a million acres of the most beautiful woods on earth. Many are in the Bayfield, Sawyer County Forests, and the renowned Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Riding here satisfied the body as well as the soul. We can’t wait for you to get out there and find that you agree.

2025 Key Trail Projects

    Dirt Candy Phase 1

    Dirt Candy Phase 1 is about giving the original section of Dirt Candy a fresh new look! We're excited to enhance the dirt lips and berms, add some fun new features, and improve the trails with better tread and drainage.

  • Makwa Trail

    Makwa Rehab

    The Makwa rehab project will be finishing the tread and drainage work that has been in progress for the past two seasons. We will implement several reroutes that elevate the entire trail to a blue ride level.

  • Ashwabay

    We'll be adding drainage and enhancing the tread along the Diesel Bear and Dirt Lip. We’re also excited to do some rock work! Plus, we’ll be using the Tsuga Daddy spot machine to tidy up the lips, landings, and overall ride quality.
