Trail Work Day at Namakagon Town Hall – Aug 26, 2023

No experience necessary. All are welcome. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Wear boots, gloves, long sleeves and pants. Bring water and a snack. We will work on tread erosion control and remove rocks and roots, move dirt, pull brush, etc. CAMBA provides all tools and leaders will show you what to do. Work will end before noon, followed by lunch and beer.
This week’s focus will be Namakagon Cluster.
Work will focus on rehab efforts in the Namakagon Cluster, and specifically the Namakagon Trail. We will complete work on one segment of trail that had seen some recent work by the WCC crew.
Meet: 8:00 am
Place: Namakagon Town Hall Trailhead – we will caravan a short distance out FR 203.
We will work until around noon.
Lunch for all volunteers will be provided – pizza and beverages at the Rivers Eatery – following the work session.
Dress for the work – gloves, long pants, good work boots, etc. Bugs have diminished, but we will have ample supply of bug spray
