August 27th  – 11am-2pm  Community Picnic – Music, Food & Fun

The biggest event of the year for Hayward Area Memorial Hospital & Water’s Edge is the COMMUNITY PICNIC! The Community Trail Blazers are excited to announce the event’s return after a two-year hiatus.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 27th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the Heritage Building Parking Lot and surrounding area.  We are anticipating over 500 guests to our campus, participation from Water’s Edge tenants, residents and families and great representation from our staff and their families. A variety of departments will showcase their services with informational booths.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever. We are working with local emergency services to have fire trucks, an ambulance and police cars at the event. LifeLink III is planning to have a helicopter on-site that day. The Birkie’s Dive for the Dirt obstacle course will be set-up, along with yard games from the Wellness Team. Northwest Connection Family Resource Center will provide games for the youngest attendees, CAMBA is setting up bike tours and DJ Dalton will add to the festivities. We are working with the Hayward Lions Club to prepare our picnic feast, Backroads Coffee is making sure we are caffeinated and providing dessert.
