Winter is here and our 2023 fundraising event for Winter fat biking in CAMBA land is just around the corner. We sold out in 2022 with a race cap of 125 riders. Don’t miss out in 2023! All proceeds go directly to the Winter grooming efforts of CAMBA singletrack!
Race Details
Both races will start at 12:00 PM in a mass start. No gates. No waves. No ghost bikes. If you’re fast, line up closer to the front. We’ll start with some hilly ski trail to string out the pack before heading into some amazing singletrack. The course will be published during the week of 9-JAN. In general, the course will utilize the ski trails at Hatchery, hop into single track to H21, come back to the Hatchery start area, and then head back North towards Mosquito Brook, hop on some ski trails at “The Brook” and then return South on glorious single track to the Hatchery TH (with some ski trail mixed towards the end). Short course racers will not go all the way to Mosquito Brook. They will most likely be turning back at H22.
The Seeley Big Fat Race is a low-key, self-supported, ~14-mile winter fat bike race plus a ~6-mile option. Due to logging in the Seeley Hills area, this year the event will be held at Hatchery Creek. Be sure to bring water, food, tools and anything else you might need on the trail, as you are on your own. However, we will have course marshals and a course sweep.
Come race on the CAMBA Winter Fat Bike Trails. Don’t Miss It!
And make sure you ADD IN A DONATION TO SUPPORT WINTER GROOMING on the CAMBA Trails!
