A Big Fat Raffle!

This year, we’re excited to offer fantastic raffle prizes, with all proceeds supporting the winter grooming of CAMBA singletrack trails! Our goal is to raise $7,500 through our raffle for this season and future efforts. Your participation makes all the difference! And this year, buy your raffle tickets online! You do not need to be present to win, but all the winners will be announced at the awards party at the Sawmill Saloon. See raffle details and rules here.

Here is what you could win:

Arctodus SLX donated by Otso Cycles – Big adventures require a bike that can rise to the occasion. Arctodus is named after Arctodus simus, an Ice Age behemoth that was the largest bear ever to walk the Earth. ($2,400 value)

Terrene Johnny 5 donated by Start Line Inn – Johnny 5 Fat Tires is an extremely soft condition tire designed with a wide platform, tall paddle lugs, and 320 studs for maximum traction so that you can continue moving forward when stopping is not an option. ($500 value for set)

Tubb’s Wayfinder, donated by New Moon Ski & Bike – The top snowshoe in the Trail Walking category, the Wayfinder, is updated with fresh art and colors and ready to hit the trails. ($199 value)

Muc-Off Clean Bundle – This clean bundle is the complete package for the ultimate clean, protect and lube routine. It includes all the essentials for a full all-over bike cleaning after long, dusty summer rides. ($100 value)

Thanks for supporting our raffle! When you buy a ticket, you’ll receive a receipt and an e-ticket sent to your email. If you don’t see them, please take a peek in your spam folder—sometimes emails get a little lost. We really appreciate your support! All proceeds from the race and raffle go directly to the snowmobile and winter grooming of CAMBA singletrack! Our goal is to raise $10,000 btw the race and raffle to fund the new snowmobile and winter grooming.

Pre-Ride

The Short Course and first lap of the race will only be open for pre-riding on Saturday morning until 11:45 am. Please note that groomers may be on the trail to take care of the Friday night snow. The singletrack on the course is always open for pre-riding. The course markings should be up for anyone riding the singletrack in the mid afternoon on Friday.

Race Day Parking

All event participants and spectators are asked to please park behind the Sawmill Saloon or across the street from the Sawmill at Vortanz Lumber (see map below).  There is limited parking on the roads in the area due to snow.  Parking will not be allowed between the start and the finish lines on Old 00.

Start/Finish

The START line is located approximately 0.5 miles from the Sawmill Saloon on Old OO.

Both races will START at 12:00pm sharp. Race participants will line up on the right side of the road heading East.  There will be no gates, no waves, no holding spots.  This is a mass start.  Racers who envision finishing in less than 1hr 15min, should start at the beginning of the pack.

The FINISH line is located 1.8 miles from the Sawmill Saloon off of Old OO on the Seeley Ski Trails. 1-Lap/Short course racers will be finishing and 2-lap/Long course racers will be heading out on their second lap and through the finish shortly after 12:20PM.  Long Course finishers will start rolling through after 1:00PM if the conditions are very fast.  The FINISH area is a great spot to spectate from as well.  Limited support crew parking will be available East of the trailhead on Old OO. Cheer on the other finishers, enjoy the fire, have some Smores, and listen to the tunes.  If history repeats itself, our last finisher will be done just after 4PM.
