Elections for the CAMBA Board of Directors will take place at this year’s annual meeting on Friday, October 5. There are two seats open for election this year. If you are interested in serving on the board and would like to be nominated, you must submit the following by September 5: a brief biography outlining your personal and/or professional background and involvement in mountain biking; and a statement of interest describing why you would be a good addition to the CAMBA board. Send your statement of interest as well as a brief biography to camba@cheqnet.net by September 10.
To be considered for election to the CAMBA board you must be a member in good standing. Board members serve three-year terms. The board meets monthly, usually in the evening the first Tuesday of the month. In addition to attending monthly meetings, directors are expected to serve on at least one committee and participate in CAMBA special events.
