CAMBA will be holding its annual spring workday this Saturday, May 12.  We will need around 20 volunteers to get our various projects completed and hope you can join us.

Meeting time: 9:00 a.m.

Place: Hatchery Creek Park – Upper parking lot.

Work: until about 12:30

Lunch and beverages will be provided following our work.

Work projects:

Hospital Trail – mow and brush new segment, sign installation

Gravel Pit Boardwalk Repair

Gravel Pit Bypass Brushing

Leaf blowing: Makwa & Hatchery Creek Trail

Hatchery Creek Bike Park: leaf blowing, trail tune-up, skills park feature repair, signage installation.

CAMBA will provide all tools and equipment, although additional professional level backpack leaf blowers would come in handy.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and the work. A stout pair of work gloves is recommended.

We hope you can join us. Thanks!

Despite some rain mid-week, we anticipate having most trails open for the coming weekend (May 12).

At this point, we can definitively state that the following clusters or trails will be open this weekend:

Mt. Ashwabay Cluster – All Trails

Cable Cluster – All Trails

Hayward Cluster – All Trails including Hospital Trail

Seeley Cluster – All Trails

Pending: We are waiting to hear back from the District Ranger about our National Forest Trails (Delta, Drummond & Namakagon Clusters) and will announce their status as soon as we know.

Check back for further updates.
